An elderly man driving a Ford Explorer crashed into a utility pole Monday afternoon on Hansen Avenue in the city of Butler.
The crash happened about 2:30 p.m.
The driver apparently didn’t break before slamming the pole head-on…leading some authorities to believe the man may have had a medical problem that caused the crash.
The driver was reportedly taken to Butler Memorial Hospital.
