A man has died after a crash Thursday morning on Interstate 80 in Mercer County.
According to State Police, the unnamed man was traveling westbound in Shenango Township near mile marker 4.5 just after 8 a.m. when he went off the left side of the road and traveled 500 feet before hitting a hill.
The vehicle then became airborne and rolled several times. The man was ejected back onto the road.
He was taken to UPMC Horizon where he was pronounced dead. Police will release the man’s identity once his family has been notified. The investigation into this accident is ongoing.
