A debate will be held next month between the candidates vying to be the next mayor of the city of Butler.
The Mayoral Candidates’ Debate is set for Wednesday, April 26 at 6 p.m. at the Grand Ballroom on Main Street, according to Butler Downtown President Bob Dandoy. The debate is hosted by Butler Downtown and the Butler County Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by the Butler Eagle.
So far, there are three Republican candidates and one Democratic candidate in the running.
Mayor Tom Donaldson, a Republican, is currently in his first term and is running for re-election.
