The Butler Boys Basketball team won their second playoff game of the season on Saturday, beating Latrobe in the WPIAL 6A quarterfinals by a final of 70-64.
Tyler Fredrick led the scoring effort for the 7th seeded Golden Tornado, scoring 22 points and also collecting 16 rebounds. Latrobe was the 2nd seed in 6A. Butler will be back in action on Wednesday, as they will play Woodland Hills at a time and place to be announced. It will be Butler’s first trip to the semi-finals since 2012.
