The first in a series of talks from specialists in the security industry will be held tonight at Slippery Rock University.
The Security Studies Speaker Series is sponsored by SRU’s Security Studies Program and begins at 6 p.m. Thursday in Room 111, Spotts.
Speakers with experience in the field will talk about the role of intelligence since 9/11, the Pennsylvania Criminal Intelligence Center, and physical security. Additional presentations will be given February 28th, and April 18th.
The purpose of the series is to spotlight the increase in career opportunities in this rapidly growing field of study.
