Students in the Mars Area School District will be participating in an event to raise money for a good cause this week.
Mars Area Elementary School is holding their annual Jump Rope for Heart fundraiser Tuesday through next Monday (2/27).
Students in second through fourth grades will collect pledges for the number of times they can jump rope in their physical education class.
Last year, this event raised over $30,000 to benefit the American Heart Association.
