The Butler girls bowling team finished fourth at the WPIBL championship Thursday (Feb 16) at Hillview Lanes in Greensburg. The girls were third after game one of qualifying and took first after the second game, before slipping out of the Baker championship round. Ashley McCue led the Golden Tornado with a 526 series. Mercedes Belch added a 517. Abby Kyle rolled the team’s high game of 203.
Hempfield won the league championship with a 2-0 victory over Plum in the Baker format championship.
