Carl Edwards to retire – immediately !

Carl Edwards and Joe Gibbs Racing are set to hold news conferences Wednesday to announce he will retire and not race in the Nascar Cup division in 2017. The 37-year old Edwards was one of the four Chase finalists in 2016, and would be ending a 13-year career that began with Roush Racing. Edwards won 28 times in 445 starts. No word on who replace him at Gibbs Racing.
