Butler Indoor Track team results from the weekend:

Leading the way at Edinboro for the Golden Tornado’s with first place finishers were Alexis Leech in the 400 meters, the 4×800 relay team of Erin LeMay, Mariah Geibel, Chelsey Kabel and Maggie Welty and the Distance Medley relay team of Maggie Welty, Maegan Emanuel, Chelsey Kabel and Carly Bauer.

Second place finishers included Maggie Welty in the 1600, the 4×200 relay team of Savannah Miller, Shana Hoy, Maegan Emanuel and Alexis Leech and the the 4×400 relay team of Maddie Tonini, Mariah Geibel, Anna Baxter and Alexis Leech.   Third place finishers included Shana Hoy in the 200, Jena Reinheimer in the shot put andMegan McClymonds in the 3000.    Others place winners were Alexis Leech in the 200, Maddie Tonini in the 400, Erin LeMay in the 800, , Mackenzi Popovich in the long jump, triple jump and high jump and Tabetha Wilbert in the triple jump.

At the the Slippery Rock Invitational  – Taylor Weaver recorded a first place finish in the pole vault and Liz Rakers was first in the shot put.   Paris Johnson was third in the shot put, Paige Williams tied for third in the pole vault while Adie McGarrah and Jade Stepanian tied for fourth in the High Jump.  Other place finishers included the 4×200 relay team of Julia Drotleff, Heidi Bednarz, Jade Stepanian and Abby Bella, the 4x 400 relay team of Erin Giannski, Julia Drotleff, Abby Bella and Heidi Bednarz and Adi McGarrah in the long jump.

The team’s next meet is Saturday January 14 at Edinboro University.
