Aside from higher gas taxes in the New Year, driving the Pennsylvania Turnpike is about to get more expensive, as well.
Tolls will go up six percent on Sunday, Jan. 8, which marks the ninth straight year of toll hikes.
Also going up- vehicle inspection stickers. They are set to increase by one dollar on July 1. PennDOT did eliminate the actual sticker this year- so you no longer have to stick one on your license plate- but you do still have to register your vehicle and pay the fee.
