An early Thursday morning mix of rain and snow could cause a mess out there on the roadways.
Temperatures are dangling right around the freezing mark, which is leading to a mixture of both snow and rain. The National Weather Service expects a high of 35 degrees on Thursday with cloudy skies.
Precipitation will eventually change to all snow as the temperatures drop into the 20s Thursday night. By Friday, Butler County could see between 1 to 2 inches of snow. Some of that may melt on contact.
