College Bowl games today:
Pitt (8-4) will meet Northwestern (6-6) in the Pinstripe Bowl in Yankee Stadium. It is the ninth consecutive season the Panthers have reached a bowl game. Their last game was the 76-61 victory over Syracuse November 26th. Northwestern also played their last game November 26th, a 42-21 victory over Illinois.
West Virginia (10-2) will play Miami (8-4) in the Russell Athletic Bowl in Orlando, Florida tonight at 5:30pm.
Yesterday: Army defeated North Texas 38-31 in overtime to win the Heart of Dallas Bowl.
–Wake Forest defeated Temple 34-26 in the Military Bowl.
–Minnesota defeated Washington State 17-12 in the Holiday Bowl.
–Baylor stunned Boise State 31-12 in the Cactus Bowl.
