Colleges and universities around the country are seeing a drop in enrollment, including here in Pennsylvania.
A report released from the National Student Clearinghouse Research Center found student enrollment in Pennsylvania’s public and private universities is down more 18,000 students this academic year, fourth worst in the nation.
Cost is certainly a factor. As well as fewer high school graduates, which means a smaller pool of potential college students for four-year institutions.
