Butler Township residents will not see a tax hike next year.
The commissioners approved the $8.66 million 2017 budget at their last scheduled meeting of 2016 on Monday night.
Anticipated expenses remained unchanged for the most part with modest revenue increases expected to match costs.
The current tax rate for Butler Township is 11.25 mils and 2017 will be the sixth consecutive year without an increase.
