Slippery Rock University honored nearly 700 students on Saturday at their annual Winter Commencement.
During Saturday’s graduation ceremony, 460 undergraduate and 120 graduate degrees were awarded to students studying in various programs and disciplines. It was also the last Winter Commencement for University President Dr. Cheryl Norton, who is retiring on June 30, 2017.
As for Slippery Rock’s Spring Commencement, it is scheduled for Saturday, May 13, and will feature two ceremonies for graduating students.
