The Pittsburgh Penguins fell on the road to the Toronto Maple Leafs Saturday night in overtime by a final of 2-1.
Saturday’s overtime game was the second overtime loss for the Pens in as many nights. Center Evgeni Malkin scored the lone goal for the Penguins in the first period. Marc Andre Fleury was the starting goalie for the Penguins.
The Pens, who are still in first place in the Metropolitan Division with 45 points and a 20-7-5 overall record, will be back in action Tuesday night when they host the New York Rangers.
