The Cranberry Township Emergency Medical Service team will begin a new program Monday to help combat addiction in our community.
The program is titled ‘Another Way’ and will include EMS personnel handing out postcards to patients who have suffered the effects of an opiate overdose.
The postcards will tell the survivors that they have been treated with the anti-overdose drug Narcan and on the other side will be contact information for local drug treatment and rehabilitation programs.
The program is dubbed “Another Way” to help show addicts there are other alternatives available to them.
