An Evans City home was destroyed after it caught fire Saturday morning.
According to our news partners at KDKA, a one story home on George Road near the Evans City – Forward Township line went up in flames around 10:30am.
Authorities say that the homeowner called 911 after noticing smoke in her home shortly after starting a fire in the fireplace.
The investigation is ongoing. No injuries were reported.
