Pitt’s star running back James Conner will forgo his senior season and enter the upcoming 2017 NFL Draft.
Conner, a redshirt junior, made his announcement on Twitter on Saturday. 2016 was a remarkable year for Conner who not only rushed for over 1,000 and accumulated 20 total touchdowns while breaking the ACC Conference career touchdowns record, but he did so after coming back from a cancer diagnosis and torn MCL that both occurred during the 2015 season.
James Conner is from Erie, and went to McDowell.
