Several businesses in the city of Butler are without power following a reported pole fire Thursday afternoon.
A call came into the Butler County 911 Center shortly after 2 p.m. for the pole fire on North Jackson Street near Main Street.
Butler City Firefighters responded and notified the power company of at least three businesses reporting outages.
According to the West Penn Power website, between 20 and 100 customers are affected and a crew is now on scene. The cause is thought to be related to the pole fire and power is estimated to be restored by 6:30 p.m.
