Crews are working on restoring power to an area in Butler Township including the Greater Butler Mart.
According to a West Penn Power representative, a total of about four customers are affected by the outage in the area of Route 8 South and Litman Road.
The representative also said that the outage that began shortly before 1 p.m. is the result of a problem with a part of a transformer on a pole in the area.
Service is estimated to be restored by sometime around 3:30 p.m.
