The public is welcome to attend a presentation about tree identification to be held later this week at McConnells Mill State Park.
Winter Tree ID will take place Thursday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Kildoo Picnic Area.
Department of Conservation and Natural Resources staff will lead a guided walk over moderate terrain and identify a variety of trees using forestry techniques, tips, and tools.
Those attending should dress for the weather rain or shine and bring a drink or snack. This program is most appropriate for adults and young people.
