A Chicora man has been charged with homicide for allegedly killing a 30-year-old woman last night.
State Police at the Butler Barracks say the incident happened about 9 p.m. Sunday at a home in the 400 block of East Slippery Rock Road in Donegal Township.
According to police, 30-year-old Josh Crawford got into a verbal argument with 30-year-old Sarah Crawford. Josh was in the process of leaving the residence to “get out of the situation” when he grabbed his hunting rifle. Police say he then pointed the rifle at Sarah Crawford and pulled the trigger.
Josh Crawford was charged with homicide and placed in the Butler County Prison.
Police have not confirmed if the two were married.
