The Pittsburgh Penguins are winners of two straight after they beat the visiting Detroit Red Wings on Saturday night by a final of 5-3.
Detroit led Saturday’s game by a score of 3-1, before the Penguin offense scored four unanswered goals. Leading the scoring effort for the Pens was Phil Kessel with two goals, Nick Bonino, Justin Schultz, and Matt Cullen. Marc-Andre Fleury was the winning goalie for the Pens.
The Penguins (15-7-3, second place in the Metropolitan Division) will wrap up their three game homestand on Monday night, as they will host the Ottawa Senators.
