A man from McMurray, PA is facing drug possession charges following an incident Friday afternoon.
Police say 18-year-old Gary Welsh III was doing 84 mph in a 65 mph zone on route 28 in Buffalo Twp., Butler County. A traffic stop was initiated and the arresting officer reports that the odor of marijuana was coming from the vehicle. A search of the vehicle was conducted which turned up a little over three ounces of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
Charges for speeding, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and disorderly conduct were filed.
