An opportunity to cook and sample delicious 18th century desserts is available this weekend.
A Holiday Desserts Cooking Class will be offered Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Old Stone House Museum in Slippery Rock.
Participants will learn how to prepare authentic dessert pies, tarts, cakes, little cakes and creams from the colonial era.
