The Pittsburgh Steelers defeated the Cleveland Browns 24-9 Sunday, breaking a four-game losing streak. Running back Le’Veon Bell rushed 28 times for 146 yards. He also caught eight passes for 55 yards. Antonio Brown led the Steelers with eight catches for 76 yards. The Steelers had eight sacks in the game and linebacker James Harrison had one of the sacks, breaking Jason Gildon’s career record. Harrison now has 77-1/2 sacks. The Steelers held the Browns to 33 yards rushing.
The win, couple with a Baltimore loss at Dallas, has moved the Steelers back into a first-place tie with the Ravens in the AFC North. The 5-5 Steelers visit Indianapolis Thursday night.
The season continued to get worse for the Cincinnati Bengals, who lost to Buffalo 16-12 , and have lost wide receiver A.J. Green and running back Giovani Bernard for the season to injuries. The Bengals are now 3-6-1.
Tonight in Monday Night Football: Oakland will host Houston at 8:30pm.
