The United States Attorney for the Western District of Pennsylvania will resign at the end of this month.
David Hickton will step down on Nov. 28 after holding this position since August of 2010.
Hickton’s accomplishments include bringing increased attention to cyber crimes, combating widespread heroin and opioid abuse, and working toward improved relations between communities and law enforcement.
Soo Song will assume the role of Acting U.S. Attorney. She currently serves as First Assistant U.S. Attorney.
