Fifty invited caregivers will be receiving recognition at a local VA event this Friday.
A Caregiver Appreciation event will be held at the VA Butler Healthcare Auditorium in Butler Township from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Friday.
The day will include information, networking, lunch and stress reduction. This year’s theme is Take Care to Give Care and topics include Health and Wellness, Sleep, Hygiene and Pain Management.
The goal of the day is for selected local caregivers to learn new information, meet and share with other caregivers, and have an opportunity to relax and have fun.
