A couple of events are going on at Slippery Rock University on Thursday.
First, SRU’s Healthy Outreach through Peer Education group will offer an education program on the dangers of smoking and chewing tobacco from 12:30 to 2 p.m. in the Bailey Library lobby. The Great American Smokeout is also sponsored by the Pennsylvania Public Health Association and Colleges Against Cancer.
Then, at 7:30 p.m. SRU music professors and instructors will present a concert titled Chamber Music Mayhem at Swope Music Hall. This free event is open to the public and will include flute, clarinet, and piano.
