Thursday is Children’s Grief Awareness Day and a local school is encouraging students and staff to help raise awareness.
Students, teachers, and other staff at the Mars Are Middle School will be wearing the color blue Thursday to commemorate the day.
The purpose of Children’s Grief Awareness Day is to put a focus onto the needs of grieving children due to the loss of close family members. Mars would like to show their support for these children in their community.
