The “Rock Done Right- Veterans Day Concert” on Friday brought in over $10,000 to help bring a traveling tribute wall to Butler.
All of the money raised at Friday’s concert at the American Legion in Lyndora will go towards bringing the American Veterans Traveling Tribute Wall, which honors Vietnam veterans, to Butler in August.
“It was a tremendous night,” Bill McNutt, with the American Legion Riders, said. “I could have never dreamed it was going to be that successful.”
The American Legion Riders need about $30,000 to bring that wall here. You can look for more fundraisers in the coming months.
The “Rock Night Right” Veterans Day show was sponsored by The Rock Station 97.7 and Shady Lady Productions and featured bands including The Shiners, Anger the Ant, Off Hours Band and the Noble Hops Band.
