Voting has been smooth for the most part here in Butler County but some voters say they encountered problems in Saxonburg.
Election judges in Clinton Township confirmed to KDKA-TV that there were issues with two of the eight automated voting machines at the Clinton Township precinct.
Most of the issues came when people tried to vote straight party ticket. Others said they specifically wanted to vote for Republican Donald Trump only to see their vote switched to Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Officials said they have recalibrated the machines and are confident the problem has been resolved.
If anyone has a problem voting, they should tell the judge of elections at the precinct and call the Butler County Bureau of Elections.
The Butler Radio Network was not able to independently confirm the issues.
