Across Pennsylvania, 203 seats in the House of Representatives and half of the seats in the 50-member Senate are on the ballot this year.
Many of those races only have one person running.
In Butler County, there are six contested state races.
41st Senate District: Incumbent Republican Don White is seeking a fifth term. He is being challenged by Democrat Tony Deloreto and USA Minuteman party candidate Stanley Buggey.
8th House District: Incumbent Republican Tedd Nesbit is seeking a second term against Democrat Judy Hines. More on this race here.
10th House District: Democrat Jaret Gibbons is seeking a sixth term against Republican Aaron Bernstine.
12th House District: Republican Daryl Metcalfe is seeking a 10th term. He is being challenged by Democrat Christian Rieger. More on this race here.
60th House District: Republican Jeff Pyle is seeking a seventh term against Green party candidate Gabe Lytle.
64th House District: Republican R. Lee James is seeking a third term against Democrat John Kluck and Green party candidate Michael Bagdes-Canning.
