Pennsylvania Lottery players can now check to see if their ticket is a winner via a mobile app.
For instant tickets, players should reveal the ‘Scratch to Cash’ barcode and then use their mobile phone camera to take a picture of it. The app will then indicate whether the ticket has won a prize.
For a draw game ticket- such as Cash 5, Powerball or Mega Millions- players can simply point their camera at the barcode.
The app is free and available through Google Play and the Apple App Store.
