A main thoroughfare in southern Butler County will be closed beginning Friday.
PennDOT says Route 68 in Evans City will be closed between Washington Street and Pioneer Road so crews can replace the railroad crossing in the borough.
The closure will begin Friday, Nov. 4 at 6 p.m. and continue through 6 a.m. Monday, Nov. 7. The road will then re-open for the Monday morning rush (between 6am-9am) and close again from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Monday to allow crews to wrap up work.
A posted detour will be in place.
