Rhetoric over “rigged elections” is offending those who actually make sure the vote is legitimate.
Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf says Donald Trump’s repeated claims about a rigged election are offensive and wrongly tarnish a system that works.
“We don’t have problems with fraud,” Wolf said. “To the extent this makes anybody think we do…that undermines the legitimacy of the democracy. I think that’s a disgraceful thing.”
Gov. Wolf- a Democrat- supports Hillary Clinton for president.
Trump first suggested in Altoona in August that the only way he could lose Pennsylvania is if “the other side cheats.”
The governor held a conference call with county elections officials Monday for a final update on preparations for next week’s vote.
