Six people were left homeless Monday after a fire damaged their home in northern Butler County.
The fire started about 12:15 p.m. at a mobile home- a single-wide trailer- on Route 38 in Washington Township.
No one was home when the fire started. The cause is under investigation by the state police fire marshal’s office.
The Butler chapter of the American Red Cross is assisting three adults and three children.
