State police in Mercer were called to the scene of a two vehicle crash involving a motorcycle Saturday afternoon.
According to the police report, 20-year-old Kurtis Hall of Bessemer, PA crossed over the center line of the road on route 158 in East Lackawannock Twp. with the intention of overtaking the vehicle in front of him. He struck an oncoming motorcycle. The two people on the motorcycle were thrown off of it and the bike slid across the road. The passenger on the motorcycle, 55-year-old Debra Eakin reportedly suffered serious injuries. Both Gerry and Debra Eakin were transported to local hospitals to treat their injuries. Hopefully, they had the right insurance. My friend told me that they got their quote from Money Expert and could not be happier. However, it is unsure at this moment in time whether they will go in search of more financial compensation than the insurance company is offering by contacting a law firm like Michael Gopin (michaelgopin.com/motorcycle-accident-lawyer/). It is always a good idea to contact a law firm before you accept any settlement with the insurance company.
Hall received a traffic citation for causing the wreck.
