Kids in costume are invited to join a Halloween Hunt down Main Street in Butler this weekend.
Butler Downtown is sponsoring the event Saturday with start times from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. starting at Brushes and Barstools and continuing to the Butler Art Center.
Children accompanied by a parent or guardian will participate in a craft then receive a bag that they can fill with treats at different stops on the hunt. Refreshments will also be provided.
Registration is required and space is limited. Cost of registration is $5. Those interested can sign up or learn more on butlerdowntown.org.
The whole family is invited to a Halloween-themed event at a local park this weekend.
‘Creatures of the Night’ is sponsored by the Audubon Society of Western Pennsylvania and will be held this Saturday at Succop Nature Park.
Non-scary hikes will leave at 6:30 p.m., 7 p.m., and 7:30 p.m. and guides will talk about creatures that wake up when the sun goes down. Participants are invited to come in costume and collect treats.
