The Cross Country Championships were held Thursday at Cooper’s Lake Campground. Seneca Valley won the Boys Triple-A championship by seven points over North Allegheny, breaking the Tigers 12-year winning streak.
Butler finished third. Noah Beveridge finished second overall. Seneca Valley runners took fourth, fifth and seventh in front of the first N.A. runner.
The Seneca Valley Girls finished fifth overall. Butler’s Maggie Welty finished third overall.
The C.W. North Catholic Girls were the runner-up in Single-A.
