Ambridge, PA- Jayden Renfrew scored five rushing touchdowns tonight for Knoch in a 48-0 road victory against Ambridge. Renfrew had touchdown runs of 1 yard and 54 yards in the first quarter for Knoch to give them a 14-0 lead. After one quarter Knoch led 14-0. In the second quarter, Knoch scored on a 6 yard touchdown pass to increase the lead to 21-0. Renfrew then scored this third touchdown run on an 8 yard run with about two minutes left before halftime. At the half Knoch led Ambridge 28-0. In the third quarter, Renfrew added his fourth and fifth touchdown runs of the night, both runs were of 36 yards. Knoch ended the scoring late in the third quarter with a 45 yard interception return for a touchdown. With the win, Knoch moves to 2-6 overall and 2-5 in conference play. For Ambridge, the loss drops them to 0-8 overall and 0-8 in conference play. Knoch will wrap up the season next Friday on the road against arch rival Mars.
