Slippery Rock will host Edinboro for a Homecoming game at Mihalik-Thompson Stadium. Kick-off is 2pm. Pre-game begins at 1:30pm on The Rock Station 97.7fm. The Rock carrries a 20-game home winning streak, longest in the nation, into the game.
Pitt is idle. They will host Virginia Tech next Thursday. Virginia Tech defeated Miami 37-16 last night.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the New England Patriots Sunday at Heinz Field. Linebacker Ryan Shazier returned to practice Thursday and expects to play in the game. He has missed the past three games with a knee injury. Kick-off is 4:25pm. Pre-game will begin at 2:25pm on WISR 680am.
Despite being without their top two running backs and four members of their defensive backfield, the Green Bay Packers defeated the Chicago Bears 26-10 last night. Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers set a franchise record with 39 completions in the game. Rodgers threw for three touchdowns.
