After exchanging information during a meeting Tuesday, the Southwestern Pennsylvania Commission and the Butler Transit Authority will host another meeting in December.
That meeting is planned for Dec. 6 at the Butler County Government Center.
According to Butler Transit Authority Executive Director John Paul, the SPC will compile and present short, medium, and long-term recommendations to address different issues and financial constraints of fixed route transit in Butler County.
Many local government officials and PennDOT administrators attended Tuesday’s meeting including all three Butler County Commissioners. To participate in a public online poll about transportation in our area, go to spcregion.org.
