A woman is accused of pulling out a stun gun during a confrontation in a local grocery store parking lot.
According to Butler Township Police, 51-year-old Gay Newth of Butler was driving in the Walmart parking lot off New Castle Road in Butler Township earlier this month (OCT 2) when she exited her vehicle and began to confront another driver.
She allegedly reached into the man’s car and attempted to slap him. The man drove away but Newth allegedly got back into her car and followed him through the parking lot.
Police say surveillance video then showed Newth pointing and activating a flashlight taser device out of her vehicle’s window towards the man.
He was not injured.
It’s unclear what prompted the dispute.
