Butler fell to undefeated and #1-ranked Canon McMillan 3-2. Hannah Hays and Brittnie Spitahler scored for Butler. The Mac’s finished their regular season 15-0-1 overall. Butler is 10-5-2 and will travel to Schenley Wednesday before learning who they will face in the WPIAL playoffs.

Boys Soccer:
Spenser Myers scored five goals to lead Karns City to a 9-2 victory over Clarion-Limestone Monday. Myers now has 55 goals this season, breaking the Gremlins single-season record that he set last year. Karns City is now 17-0 and travel to Forest Area today to complete their regular season.

Golf:
Lauren Freyvogel of Pine-Richland led the PIAA Class Triple-A Western Region Championship Monday with a -1 under 71 at Tom’s Run Golf Course in Blairsville. She advanced to the state championship next week in York. She is joined by Christina Lewis of North Allegheny who was third.

Adam Bushee of Seneca Valley and Tre Bartony of C.W. North Catholic qualified for the state final on the boys side.
