The Cleveland Indians defeated the Toronto Blue Jays 4-2 last night to take a 3-0 lead in the American League Championship Series. The Indians used six relievers out of their bullpen for the win. Starting pitcher Trevor Bauer left in the first inning, after a cut began to bleed. Bauer missed his start in game two of the series after cutting his hand on a drone and had to have stitches.
The Indians are now 6-0 this post-season and can clinch a trip to the World Series with a victory tonight in Toronto. Game time is 8:08pm.
The National League Championship Series will resume tonight in Los Angeles at 8:08pm. The Dodgers host the Chicago Cubs, with their series tied at 1-1.
