A local woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly pointing a stun gun during a parking lot dispute.
According to a criminal complaint, 51-year-old Gay Newth of Butler was driving in the Walmart parking lot on Sunday, October 2nd, just before 5 p.m.
Newth allegedly tried to reach into a man’s car and slap him after he yelled at her. Police observed surveillance video that confirmed Newth followed the man up and down three rows after that before she pointed and activated a flashlight taser device out of her vehicle window. The man was not injured.
Newth has been charged with misdemeanor Disorderly Conduct, making Terroristic Threats, Attempted Simple Assault by Menace, and Possession of Incapacitation Device with Intent.
