High School Scores from Saturday (Oct 15):Boys Soccer:
Freeport-4 Springdale-1. Robbie Reichenbaugh scored two goals for the Yellow Jackets.
The Karns City Boys remained undefeated with a 5-0 win over Clarion-Limestone. Five different goal scorers for the Gremlins, who are now 16-0.
The WPIAL playoff match-ups will be released Wednesday. The Seneca Valley, Mars, Knoch, Freeport, Deer Lakes, Pine-Richland, North Allegheny and Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic Boys teams have all clinched a playoff spot.
Girls Soccer:
Freeport-2 Mohawk-0. They complete their regular season tonight. The Yellow Jackets have won their first section title since 2006.
Freeport, Butler, Seneca Valley, Mars and Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic have all clinched playoff spots.
The Karns City Gremlins defeated Clarion 31-7 Friday night to claim their fifth consecutive Keystone Shortway Athletic Conference Large school championship. The Gremlins are now 7-1 overall.
