It was an offensive shootout in the first half between the Pitt Panthers and the Virginia Cavaliers.
But a pick six by Jordan Whitehead at the end of the first half propelled the Panthers to a strong second half and a 45-31 win.
The Panthers surrendered 28 points in the first half, but kept Virginia to just a field goal in the second.
Pitt is off this week and will host Virginia Tech on Thursday, October 27th. The Panthers currently sit in a second-place tie with Virginia Tech.
